Our Leaders

President

Hello, my name is Hyeonu Yu, but I go by the nickname, Ricky, as an easier way of communicating. Just like how I used something called a nickname instead of my real name for a better way of communicating, I plan to do something very similar in STEM Club. I want to use science, technology, engineering, and math to create a better experience for students in Norco College. I love coming up with, as well as hearing, new and innovative ideas; I hope to keep doing so and make these ideas actually happen. Just like how a nickname can help people's pronunciation and make lives easier, I want to use STEM to help people and make lives easier as well.

Ryan Seeger

Secretary

Hello everyone, my name is Gwen! I previously had leadership experiences in MESA and Biology clubs from my previous community college. As secretary, I am excited to share information and answer anyone’s questions or concerns regarding club activities. I want to bring more awareness to the STEM club and would love to see some new and old faces this year!

Gwen Martin

Treasurer

Hello, my name is Arno, and I am interested in being more involved with the STEM Club. Previously, I was the treasurer of the E-Sports Club in my high school, and I think I can use this experience to positively influence STEM Club. My goal is to help the club grow and help provide a place where people can learn and participate in STEM activities together, while having a fun and meaningful time as well!

Arno Jiang

ICC Representative

Hello, current and future STEM club members my name is Alvaro Sanchez. My current role in STEM club is to participate in weekly ICC meetings to get information about campus news and other club activities and to tell the members of the club about any relevant info. I got involved with STEM club because I wanted to be more involved with what I was doing in school, as I feel like this is a great way to meet new people and make friends, while also getting the ability to network. Outside of school, I am a huge music nerd; I play the saxophone (for 7 years btw), I am learning the piano, and I am also taking music theory classes on top of my math and science courses. I hope you find interest in this club and become an active member in the awesome activities we have planned out for the semester.

Historian

What's up, my fellow STEM club members. My name is Angelo, and I like long walks on the beach while taking photos doing so. I am proficient at the tasks assigned to the historian role and would be able to make our club's social media pages aesthetically pleasing, informational, and professional. I have much experience in using multiple social media platforms including Instagram and Twitter. As well as this, I love taking photographs, editing photos, and creating posters in programs such as Canva. With my experience, I could present the STEM Club and in a respectable light to the rest of our fellow scholars.
